TEST DRIVE 003
Here is our third Test Drive Meme! There are a lot of areas of the city to explore, so please have a look around! In case you need a little help getting started, I've included a few prompts below, or feel free to start your own! Exploration and player initiative are the names of the game here!
NOTE: While you do need an invite to apply to the game, you do NOT need one to tag or top level on the Test Drive!
Arrival & General Information | Locations & Bestiary | Residences & Housing Info | Businesses | Rules & FAQ (ask questions here!)
A. Crash into Me
Not exactly, but close enough. You have just arrived and received a strange satchel from a tiny, strange little man and are left more or less to your own devices (more information on what to expect upon arrival can be found here)! Follow directions to the north and check out the housing, or maybe have a look around the Historium and try to get some information from that giant glowing ball, see what you can waste your meager starter coin on in the Market District, or maybe just meet the neighbors.
B. Something Wicked This Way Comes
Beginning today, new creatures will be noticed. As the description suggests, what will be experienced first is a change in mood for the darker. People who are possessed by these entities will have a sick, afflicted feeling to them perceivable by those who are sensitive to magical energies or have a sensitivity to the spiritual energies or can sense non-corporeal entities.
These entities can be purged with even low-level healing spells or by those who are capable of expelling demons or other spirits. There is also a new advertisement found pinned to the Notice Board and posted in random places throughout every district of the city and outside every residence building:Feeling under the weather? Suffering from the night before? Have a headache? Fever? Minor possession? We have the cure for what ails you! Stop by Grave Concoctions! You won't be disappointed!
(OOC: Added to the bottom of these flyers in a scrawled hand is the following)
We're located just south of the Cemetery! You can't miss us...me. You can't miss me!
Tell Phone
The Tell Phones everyone are provided when they arrive are capable of voice transmission and texting as well and photo texts!

Namine? You're here too? Is anyone else with you?
[Audio]
[It's nice to hear a familiar voice.]
I was hoping that this thing would help me find everyone. I'm not sure... how this could happen.
[Audio]
I don't know..but where are you?
[Audio]
[She takes a look around her.]
There are a few tall buildings around me. I think it's the center of town.
[Audio]
[Terra is not going to miss a chance to see someone from his own world here.]
[Audio]
I will be waiting.
[Naminé stops wandering and takes a seat on the fountain edge, looking between the streets around her and the rippling waves from the water behind her.]

Really he should've known Namine would be there, that was where all new arrivals ended up anyway. But the first thing was to get her settled into her new apartment, and maybe show her where some things were since she might need to know that.
But once he caught sight of her, Terra stood there and smiled. It was so nice to see someone from home.]

Her gaze caught Terra's approach and while this is her first instance of seeing him in person, she recognizes him instantly. After all, they'd met once before… even if she hadn't had a body back then.
Naminé rose to her feet and clasped her hands behind her back as Terra approached.] You found me. [She glances around at the space around her before finding the small blue bag she'd been given by the short man and picked it up, holding it in her arms as she finished closing the distance between her and Terra.]
You are really here...
no subject
But he saw the white dress and the blonde hair so he slowed down and stopped a few feet away with a smile and a nod.
"Yup."
It was kind of weird to see her here but it really was nice to see Namine. But then he noticed the blue bag and half smiled. "So..you're in the blue building too?"
no subject
Naminé looked up at Terra. "Do you know where that is?"
no subject
Safety was important, especially here with not knowing anyone else. And with her here now he could keep an eye out for her.
no subject
She wanted to know where he lived and where her new home would be.
no subject
So Terra inclined his head with the way that the building was. "We'll get you settled right in."
no subject
"How did you settle in?" She asked, trying to figure out what she was supposed to do.
no subject
At the question he wanted to laugh but he just shook his head. "You just start getting comfortable with being here. But you can take all the time you need, because I don't think we're going home any time soon."
no subject
"Can you not leave this world?"
She was sure that he had a way of traveling between worlds but maybe she'd been wrong about that.
no subject
He himself had no idea who these people were or what they could do. "But I'm going to find them and see what they say. All we really know is that they tell us to live and that's enough."
The brown haired head shook. "But it doesn't give us any more answers."
no subject
Naminé had thought that the red haired woman appeared to be nice but she didn't have a good track record with meeting random people after waking up in a strange place. So she wasn't sure and didn't hold her own opinion as infallible.
"Right." She frowned. "I don't know if I can help but I will try." While also getting used to this world.

He didn't know what to quite make of them. So far he'd only met the lady as everyone else had. But Terra recalled there was another one, so he hadn't met them yet. And idly he wondered if they appeared at all but he couldn't let that keep him from watching over Namine'.
Terra's brown haired head shook. "Well it's not like we really have any more information, but we can help where we can, right?"
