Incoming Professor of Magic/Detective!

ask_whydunitHey all! ‘Tis I, Whimsy. Bringing in an old-muse that evolved like a pokemon u.u…
So back in 2013ish me and some friends watched an anime called Fate/ Zero, and I came away from it with a stupid bratty, dramatic mage who developed a huge attachment to a particular king. Been on a nostalgia kick lately and found out that same brat grew up and got his own series where he was a slightly dramatic professor of magic & detective.
So… here he is! I am pleased to introduce Lord El-Melloi II (The second is important, for reasons) of the Clock Tower’s Modern Magecraft Theory department. His real name is Waver Velvet, which is what all his game info stuff shows, because between the title and the anime name it would be kinda long.
He will probably eventually tell people and let them call him by his real name if you unlock his social link. It’s just been 7ish years of being called Lord El-Melloi II by everyone but his friend Melvin, so it’s just a habit. It’s not a title he likes or even wanted. He took it out of guilt because of what happened to the last Lord El-Melloi, and he’s trying to take responsibility for what he believes caused the man’s death. Along with MASSIVE debt. So he’s just… He’s very grumpy, and very tired, and doing his best. Oh, and he really wants to see the King he summoned during the Grail War again.
He’s coming in from the midway point of the ‘Rail Zeppelin’ arch, just after facing down a mysterious ‘heroic spirit’ who immediately tried to kill him and his students. He took a pretty bad hit. He’s probably not sure if he survived that, but he sure hopes so because he needs to get something important back, make sure his students are okay, and solve a murder mystery. So he’ll be THRILLED to be here.
ANYWAY, he’s already offered to help Illyana at the Magic Academy. He will be looking to take on students because his greatest strength is in teaching (boy has very little magical ability himself, bad magic circuits + low lineage = not much power in his world… but he sure can teach magic!) and his classroom tends to collect the ‘problem students/Misfits’ of the Clock Tower. He will be kinda prickly/grumpy, but he’s a nerd, so hit him up if you want to learn more about magic. He’ll be fascinated with how magic might work in other worlds and dive into making lesson plans for the individual. Otherwise he’ll teach people about magic from his world.
ON THAT NOTE: This character comes with a special permissions section of his permissions post. I would appreciate it if people check that out, especially if you want your character to be his student.
