+1 Artistic Phantom Thief of Hearts!
It is I, Whimsy, with a third character!
This time I’m bringing in Yusuke Kitagawa, a Phantom Thief of Hearts from the lovely Persona game series :o ! I’m bringing him in from probably slightly before mid-game currently (Just after 8/29), and I’ll probably update him somewhere down the line. But for now, he’s coming in from a point where he’s been on the team for a while and most of the team has been assembled.

Yusuke is still a student on an art scholarship and struggling with the remains of an art slump that’s been holding him back, so expect to see him around the city looking for subjects to paint or sitting in the park sketching the scenery or strange creatures he’s happened upon that he’s never seen before. He’s pretty bad with social norms and boundaries though, don’t be surprised if he approaches your character with an excited insistence to ask if they wanted to be/help with his art subject/model. He’s also pretty good at sneaking up on people without really intending to, so uh… sorry about that.
He’ll also be pretty much in need of people to remind him to eat and stuff, since he tends to get really caught up in his work for days on end. He LOVES food, but unless someone’s there to offer/remind him, then chances are he’s gone a day or two without something. It probably doesn’t help that he’s not good with money, either. Everyone will probably witness him purchasing something weird/odd around the markets for the sake of ‘inspiration’ or art supplies, and then not have enough to buy lunch. Oh…! And if you want someone to ruin your character’s big day out, then invite him along. He’s weirdly followed around by rain and it tends to storm unexpectedly when he’s present.
So he’s another awkward, slightly disastrous bean which should not surprise people given the rest of my character roster.
Yusuke, like the other persona characters, is also capable of summoning a persona (Goemon) that gives him special abilities (ice magic and some physical attacks that can be found in his app on the journal) and enhanced fighting capabilities and talents with weapons (He’s gonna need a katana!) that he wouldn’t otherwise have. The fun twist with him, though, is he gets a fancy disguise when he’s tapping into Goemon’s abilities that include a kitsune mask. He’ll be very keen to help with explorations and monsters since it’ll remind him of working with his team back home.
So uh… that’s all I can think of, looking forward to throwing him at you all! If you want to keep his TDM threads going or make them game-canon let me know and I’ll set them up to continue when I post his IC intro!
