WELCOME TO ATERAT

Here is our Fifth Test Drive Meme! There are a lot of areas of the city to explore, so please have a look around! In case you need a little help getting started, I've included a few prompts below, or feel free to start your own! Exploration and player initiative are the names of the game here!

I. Crash Into Me

Not exactly, but close enough. You have just arrived and received a strange satchel from a tiny, strange little man and are left more or less to your own devices (more information on what to expect upon arrival can be found here)! Follow directions to the north and check out the housing, or maybe have a look around the Historium and try to get some information from that giant glowing ball, see what you can waste your meager starter coin on in the Market District, or maybe just meet the neighbors.

II. What Goes Bump in the Night

It looks like Aterat proper has a spirit problem. Maybe you're seeing specters, hearing disembodied voices, your windows rattle when there's no breeze outside. Maybe there are cold spots in your place of business (or your apartment, which is so much worse). Either way, you're 100% convinced you're haunted. Hopefully, someone else believes you, or maybe you're used to feeling crazy.

III. When the Carnival Came to Town?

Take a look at the prompts from our latest event and go to town (or the carnival).

IV. Try the Network

The Tell-Phone allows for text, video, and audio transmissions to everyone else who has one. Give it a whirl!

"Hey!" She hadn't bumped her head... recently. "Are you always this rude?"

Yuffie placed her palms on her hips as her mouth tilted into a frown. She was fine with Aerith not remembering her but she didn't like the idea that someone had memories of her that she didn't recall. That was clearly cheating. "How would I know anyone you know if I don't know you?!" That was just silly.

She hopped down from the ledge and glanced around the roof top. It was only the two of them but she was sure she spotted or heard someone else. "And I guess you didn't hear anything?"

"And you haven't changed." Leon replied, shaking his head.

He sighed and gave her an amused sort of face. "You even sound the same for someone who doesn't remember me." This was weird. And she didn't even really address Sora. That bugged him. No one could forget that kid could they?

His blue eyes rolled. "I don't know how I could hear anyone over how loud you are."

"Then shush!" Yuffie waved a hand in Leon's direction before walking towards the ledge that dropped down into an alleyway between the building they stood on the and one next to them. "Also stop talking like you know me." She whispered though it wasn't a very quiet whisper.

"It's weird."

She crouched down and stared into the darkness but didn't hear anything. Maybe it had been all in her head or maybe it was a ghost that had continued its hauntings elsewhere. There was no telling in this city. Yuffie really didn't know what was normal and what wasn't.

Leon sighed and folded his arms across his chest, closing his eyes. She walked, talked and acted the same. Whatever was going on, he was pretty convinced she just bumped her head while changing her clothes or something.

"Then tell me you don't know a Cid or Aerith or Cloud." There was a challenge in his voice as he opened his eyes and looked at her.

But he was careful to observe what she was doing so that he could keep her out of trouble. Because while he didn't have any on him currently, he'd bet munny that she was looking for it, or that it would find her.
