If he obeyed or if he didn't, she released the rote making said door a door--any patrollers would be much less likely to realize someone had infiltrated the warehouse if there was a chalk drawing there. A true door where one should not be, on the other hand...
"Magick," Cass replied, quite honestly. She wouldn't tell a human such things, but Uldren--certainly seemed to be not quite, though Cass wouldn't comment on it. "Mine can redefine reality. I convinced that part of the wall that it was actually a door--for a few moments, in any case. I could do it for longer, maybe even indefinitely, but I didn't want to chance any visits from any friendly guardsmen, you understand."
She walked further into the warehouse, setting a tiny globe of light to hover over her head and give her a bette chance to look around the area. She knew it had to be somewhere--hidden, likely, but present nonetheless. Cass' lips flattened to a thin line as she searched.
