I. Crash Into Me

Not exactly, but close enough. You have just arrived and received a strange satchel from a tiny, strange little man and are left more or less to your own devices (more information on what to expect upon arrival can be found here)! Follow directions to the north and check out the housing, or maybe have a look around the Historium and try to get some information from that giant glowing ball, see what you can waste your meager starter coin on in the Market District, or maybe just meet the neighbors.

II. What Goes Bump in the Night

It looks like Aterat proper has a spirit problem. Maybe you're seeing specters, hearing disembodied voices, your windows rattle when there's no breeze outside. Maybe there are cold spots in your place of business (or your apartment, which is so much worse). Either way, you're 100% convinced you're haunted. Hopefully, someone else believes you, or maybe you're used to feeling crazy.

III. When the Carnival Came to Town?

Take a look at the prompts from our latest event and go to town (or the carnival).

[he could refuse to answer. he could say nothing, and it wouldn't be a lie. for a moment he's not even sure that he can tell her. all this time, and he's never told another single living soul.

Lennon studies the armband for a moment and honestly the design of the logo is pretty cute even if he still doesn’t want to wear an armband himself. He nods as he listens to him explain the terms. It all seems fair enough to him, maybe rather generous actually. He takes another drink and offers a quick smile.

“I’ll make sure to come by soon,” he promises.

Yeah, it's super cute. The sloth that the logo was based on has of course gone to full growth now, and Speedy's markings are different now because of it, but he still loves his little guy.

"Awesome. We'll see you if we see you."

Then he offered a brief wave.

hmm. then i must work harder on the pitter and the patter.

My people have a reputation that is well-earned. I am not like them, but their eyes tell them differently.

why do you care about that?

Shade nods. Overwhelming really only scratches the surface of what all this is. He isn’t sure how to get his footing or really how to make connections with the people here — or anywhere. But his coven and family isn’t here and he’s never been this alone.

He stiffens briefly at her touch, surprised more than anything by it but soon he relaxes and finds himself strangely grateful for it.

There’s a small smile at her kind words. “I think I can try to do that.”

oh, not unlike the fae then. even i cannot trust my own. i've been apart from them for a long time - apart from everyone, really.

You have my sympathy. Even among my people, I was lonely. It was only after leaving that I learned true friendship.
