Mono felt a warmth in his chest as Luna took his hand. It was nice... Reminded him of Six, who he missed dearly. This meant he could make sure they were close, and he could protect them if he saw something bad coming. Not that anything bad had happened since the crystal rains, but you never knew. “We’ll go to my apartment. I got shoes there. They might be kinda big, but they’ll protect your feet till we can find you a better pair.” Mono explained softly to the girl.

Then they could go to the market to show them where the cheaper food stands were, and the places that sold bread and produce for less when it was nearly time to close up shop.
