Sole watched as the man in front of them took out another one of the pretzels and began to eat it. It looked delicious and he knew that his sister loved flavored bread the most. He glanced back at Luna before taking a quick step forward to snatch the bread from where Llewellyn had left it on the creat. He took a bite and when he was sure that it wasn't poisonous he turned to Luna.
... only to find her petting the dog that had crawled its way over to where they had been standing.
Luna had eagerly accepted Pretzel, kneeling down to be on eye level with him. His breath smelled awful but she couldn't help but smile as the wet tongue licked her face. Even her laughter was silent though there was a small squeeze of surprise when Pretzel half fell onto her to get more attention.
"Luna!" Sole shouted before being stunned into his own silence. He couldn't remember the last time he'd seen his sister smile like that.
His grip tightened around the salted bread as he watched his sister. "That means you won't turn us into the guards?" He was talking to Llewellyn, praying that they weren't falling into another trap.
