A low warm chuckle reverberated through Jacob's chest. "Yeah. I wasn't really much of a pet person but I knew a few people with cats. They're cute." He thought most animals were cute.

His eyebrow rose in an elegant arc. "You sure? I'm probably not as good at finding things but I can probably cat it." He was severely underestimating how troublesome a cat could be.

"Mono. Cool name. Have you ever wanted a nickname? I have an older sister so nicknames happen a lot." Sometimes to insult each other.
